WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Three Midwestern State University football players took down a suspect after he stole a bike on campus.

Authorities arrested Maury Doshun Gregorie, a 36-year-old who reportedly shoplifted items at Sikes Senter Mall before he stole a bicycle right next to the MSU practice field.

That's when  MSU Defensive Coordinator, Rich Renner told Newschannel six that he saw the theft and yelled to the trio of players who tackled and held Gregorie to the ground until Wichita Falls Police arrived on the scene.

Gregorie now faces theft charges.
