Reckless riding and driving on golf carts causing problems in Archer City

ARCHER CITY, TX (KAUZ) - It was a packed house at Archer City's council meeting Thursday night over concerns of children's safety following a rash of reckless behavior.
Earlier this month the city's police chief put a piece in the local paper over driving and riding recklessly on golf cart's and ATV's.
Citizens expressed those same concerns at the meeting, but do not want to be punished because of the actions of some kids.
The problem led to extensive discussion between city council and local citizens.
"If you know who it is, it looks to be pretty dangerous and it's against the law or city ordinance, call 911 or go talk to their parents," Ben Tucker, Archer City council member said.
Councilors decided to look into an ordinance that will be presented at next month's meeting for regulations on golf cart's and ATV's.
The chief of police said if things continue the way they currently are, his department is going to have to respond to a deadly accident and that is something they do not want to see.
