WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - On Saturday many came out to show those who serve and protect Texoma they have their back, at the Back the Blue benefit.
It was held at the Silver Dollar Saloon in Wichita Falls.
There was a silent auction and a cook-off between local law enforcement agencies.
Some who came out participated in washer and corn hole tournaments.
Heather Polley, Silver Dollar Saloon's Marketing Manager, said it is all about showing support for those who wear the badge.
"Its knowing that these guys put their lives on the line for us every day, and we want to make sure they know that we have their back," said Polley.
All proceeds will go to C.O.P.S, Concern of Police Survivors, to help the families of the fallen Dallas officers.
The Back the Blue event was held from 11 a.m. Saturday morning to 11 p.m. that night.
