WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

A burglary suspect is behind bars thanks, in part, to social media.

Wichita Falls Police say an unknown amount of property was stolen from a home on Cypress Avenue Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say the victim used social media and managed to track down the person they believed had stolen from them, which led to a disturbance around 9:15 p.m. Thursday night in the 3200 block of Seymour Road.

Police say one person was arrested for the burglary, but their charges are unknown at this time.

WFPD Officers were able to make a partial recovery of the victim's property and said the investigation is still ongoing.
