WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A prayer campaign that got its start in Wichita Falls hit the road Monday morning.
Harry Patterson with Patterson Dealerships and his friend, Harris Pink climbed into a special army truck for the trip. The ride was covered with Prayer For
Peace banners. Patterson and Pink are taking it to Angel Fire, New Mexico for a Vietnam veterans reunion.
Patterson said the attack on police officers in Dallas prompted this campaign and hopes to spread its message during the 477-mile ride.
"We hope the efforts of the Patterson family of dealerships that we've started out with the prayer for peace will continue to spread throughout our community and further on beyond," Patterson said.
