The sun was up and guns were drawn at the Northwest Texas Field and Stream in Wichita Falls, just in time for National Hunting and Fishing Day.
The staff was there to make sure everyone had a good and safe time.
"This is what we are here to do," said Roger Kroes, President of the Field and Stream. "To teach safe firearm ownership and responsibility."
People of all ages from beginner to expert were at the range Saturday and did everything from shooting guns to archery.
"To watch someone have fun whether they hit the target or not," said Kroes. "The important part is they are doing it in a safe and responsible manner and they are having fun. That's all that matters."
Kroes said the goal for the Field and Stream is to make sure everyone at the range stays safe.
