WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

A network is now being offered in Wichita Falls that can help families who care for aging adults with Alzheimer's or Dementia.

It's called MissingSeniorNetwork.com. Tiffany Oliver, Owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Wichita Falls, said seniors with these diseases can often wander.

"I can tell you that this probably happens on a daily basis," she said.

This can put families in a panic to find their loved one. In order to get these seniors home safely, Oliver suggests getting an account at MissingSeniorNetwork.com

"The more people who are aware, the more people who understand, the more people who are looking out for that person, the better outcome you're going to have on finding them," she said.

When you create an account you not only put in your loved one's information. You also put in your own and the contact information of any businesses or people your loved one may come into contact with when they're lost.

The service is free of charge and only takes a few minutes to sign up. There is also a site to offer tips to prevent wandering as well.
