HENRIETTA, TX (KAUZ) - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide in Henrietta.
Sheriff Kenny Lemons says it happened Saturday morning around 1:20am. According to the arrest affidavit, deputies responded to 109 North Red River Street in reference to a gunshot victim. Authorities say Trinity Elizabeth Noland was sitting outside on the front porch with another person. Noland told the deputy a firearm was on her bed inside.
Shaun Edword Simpson was found dead inside the home. A .22 Caliber pump rifle and a .22 casing were also found inside the home.
Trinity Elizabeth Noland has been booked in jail for Murder. Noland told deputies that Simpson came to her home, and assaulted two people. Noland told deputies she fired a shot at Simpson.
Noland's bond has been set at $100,000.00 by Justice of the Peace John Swenson, and Noland is currently in custody at the Clay County Jail.
