Floral Heights Food Pantry unveils new building

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

The Floral Hills Food Pantry is finally complete in Wichita Falls, the exterior anyway.
It only took three days!
The pantry was one of 300 applicants for a grant to provide a new building.
The Helping Hands organization, along with Mueller Incorporated, finished the outside.
Aimee Brown, Executive Director of the Food Pantry, said this might be the best day in the pantry's 37 year history.
"I don't know if we have a word in our vocabulary to tell you what we feel, but it's just wow all over!," Brown said.
Despite the keys being handed over Thursday, the new facility will not open immediately because it still has to be constructed and furnished on the inside.
The food pantry is asking for any donations to help towards that cause and hope to open in November.
