WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

The Newschannel 6 Game of the Week for week 7 has been postponed due to lightning and heavy rain.

The game was halted with 10:19 remaining in the first half, with the Hirschi Huskies leading the Sanger Indians 28-14. It will resume on Saturday, October 8th at 6 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.

In a busy first 14 minutes of action, Hirschi's Roman Turner, our Dr Pepper Player of the Week for Week 5, racked up 163 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on just 7 carries.

Tune in Friday night to the Final Score with QnA for full highlights from before the delay, and to hear from Hirschi coach Danny Youngs about dealing with the delay, and a short week the following week with another Thursday game on the schedule.
