WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Fall temperatures made for the perfect weather for the Pumpkin Fest at Smith's Gardentown Farms in Wichita Falls Saturday morning.
The old-fashioned fall festival included pumpkin coach rides, pumpkin paintings, and games.
The event benefited the agencies of Hands to Hands Community Fund.
Co-Owner of Smith's Gardentown Farms, Katherine Smith said the agencies of Hands to Hands help our local communities.
"Hands to Hands Community Fund means a lot to me. I have volunteered with some of their agencies. They are local. Everything you give to Hands to Hands stays right here in our community and does so much for children and adults," Smith said.
Various agencies had booths with different activities and were accepting donations. Hands to Hands Community Fund agencies include:
The ARC of Wichita County
Children's Aid Society of West Texas
Boys & Girls Club of Burkburnett
Camp Fire North Texas
Child Advocates (CASA)
Boy Scouts of America NWTC
The Friendly Door of Iowa Park
