BBB Torch Awards winners announced

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Newschannel 6's Chris Horgen got the chance to emcee an amazing event at The Kemp at the Forum. The Better Business Bureau Torch Awards honored outstanding Texoma businesses.

There were 21 area businesses and 3 non-profits nominated for an array of high ethical standards.

The winners announced for the four categories are: Large Business went to OK Concrete, Medium Business was a tie between Davis Kinard CPAs and Trinity Air Conditioning, Small Business is Doctor John Thornton DDS and the Non-Profit award went to Faith Mission Refuge.

This is considered a big deal for all businesses involved.

"What it means is that a committee of your peers recognizes your  commitment to ethics and the things that you've done to make your customers and to make your employees understand the higher code  that your going to live by."

A big congratulations to all the businesses that were nominated and and won awards today.
