Early Voting

WICHITA COUNTY, TX (KAUZ) - Here are the early voting totals for Wichita County.
On Monday, more than 2,700 people cast their ballots.
On Tuesday, nearly 2,600 people took to the polls, bringing the grand total of voters so far in Wichita falls to just less than 5,300.

Early voting began Monday for the lone star state. From October 24th to November 4th registered voters can cast their ballots for the General Elections this November.
If you live in Wichita County and want to vote early you can head to the following locations:

Wichita County Courthouse - 900 7th Street, Room 139
Home Depot - 3705 Kell Boulevard 
Sikes Senter Mall - 3111 Midwestern Parkway
Wichita County Tax Office Substation - 400 N Wall Street, Iowa Park
Commissioner 2 Building - 102 W College Street, Burkburnett
Commissioner 4 Building - 2023 SH 25 N, Electra

In order to cast your ballot in the state of Texas you need to present one of the following forms of identification:

Texas driver license
Texas Election Identification Certificate
Texas personal identification card
Texas license to carry a handgun
United States military identification card containing the person's photograph
United States citizenship certificate containing the person's photograph
United States passport

If you do not have any of those forms of identification there are two things you will have to do in order to vote.

First, you will sign a sworn statement that there is a reason why you don't have any of the ID's listed above. 
Second, you will provide one of the following:

Valid voter registration certificate
Certified birth certificate
Current utility bill
Government check
Pay stub or bank statement that includes your name and address
Copy of or original government document with your name and an address (original required if it contains a photograph).

The last day to submit an application for ballot by mail is October 28th.

The last day to receive a ballot by mail is on Election Day at 7:00 p.m. unless overseas deadlines apply.
