WICHITA FALLS, TX - Hirschi High School held its first ever Fall Community Festival on Saturday.
A lot of people came out to the event for some fall fun.
There were musical chairs, face painting, carnival games, a pie throwing contest and much more.
The school's PTO put the festival together in hopes of doing more than just celebrating the season.
"In the active duty Air Force you have a very close knit community, and you find that when a community unites together it just breeds and fosters good mentorship, good instructions, good assistance," said Melanie Euland, a PTO member. "It just literally builds the community up, and that's what we want to do here at Hirschi," she said.
Those who helped organize the event said they plan on having another one next year.
