WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Witnesses are speaking out about a Halloween party that turned into a real nightmare after several fights sent multiple people to the hospital.

According to officials at the Wichita County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle was damaged with a front-end loader on the 100 block of Wellington around 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Teenagers from inside the Halloween party then came outside, and a fight ensued.

Deputies went as far as to call what happened a brawl.

Several victims went to Neighbors Emergency Center for their injuries.

Deputies said they interviewed a lot of witnesses, all of whom were apparently saying different things that happened.

Some of those who were there said word spread fast about the party, adding about 200 people showed up.
Witnesses said they were just there to have a good time, and everything was fine until about 3 a.m. when things got out of control.

Stone Bloxham said he felt sick to his stomach watching the events unfold.

“Pipes being thrown through the pickup that was totaled, and then they got a front load and really just totaled the pickup, raised it off the ground and just smashed into,” said Bloxham.

Bloxham said it was stomach turning, and he wanted to leave as soon as everything took a turn for the worse, but could not.

“They locked the gate, and there’s nothing we could do about it,” said Bloxham.

Another witness said by the time she made it to the gate to leave, there were 20 to 30 cars lined up trying to exit, but the gate was still locked.

That witness said she called 911.

“I was just worried about the people who were actually hurt out there because people did get hurt,” said the 911 caller.

She adds a girl who was in the truck that was totaled had a severe injury to her forehead and had to get 11 stitches near her nose.

Bloxham is friends with that girl and said he just wants justice for her.

No arrests have been made, but the investigation continues.
