Vehicle accident kills 1, sends 2 to the hospital

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

On Monday, November 7th at approximately 6:47 pm officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of 9th and Broad in reference to a major accident.

Upon arrival, officers located a blue 2003 Mazda 6 driven by a female driver and a 1985 Honda Goldwing motorcycle being driven by a male with a female passenger.

Witnesses stated that the Mazda was northbound in the 900 block of Broad and the Motorcycle was westbound in the 1300 block of 9th when the two vehicles collided.

All three involved were transported to the hospital by ambulance. 

Accident investigators were dispatched to the scene to investigate the crash.

We now know one of those patients died overnight.
