WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday in the trial of a man accused of killing 21-year-old Domanic Thrasher last June in Wichita falls.

Blayne William Brooks, 21, has been in Wichita County Jail since August of 2015 on charges of Aggravated Robbery, Murder and Possession of Marijuana.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, another suspect in the case, Whitney O'Brien, named Brooks as the person who shot Thrasher during a drug transaction.

Thrasher was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.

The affidavit said O'Brien fully confessed to her involvement in the murder.

She told investigators she had been in the SUV when Brooks shot Thrasher multiple times and that another man, Justin Michael Love, was the driver of the vehicle.

The trial is expected to last several weeks.
