WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - The Wichita Falls Public Library hosted its International Games Day on Saturday.
The event was free to the public and sponsored by the American Library Association.
Dozens spent the afternoon doing puzzles, playing card games and different board games. Like Candy Land, checkers and even strategy games such as
Dungeon and Dragons for the adults.
Susan Cooper, the Wichita Falls Library's Youth Services Manager, said this event is a good way to let people know about all the programs the library has.
"We have lots of stuff to offer, and people don't always realize that we're down hear in Wichita Falls, so we try to have as many events like this as possible to draw a wider range of people into the library," said Cooper.
Cooper said the library offers both educational programs and other activities for all ages.
She adds you do not need a library card to participate in any of the programs they offer, to use facilities or to play in the family space.
