WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - In October, Child Protective Services (CPS) investigators notified authorities of the results of a drug screen where an eight-month-old child tested positive for exposure to methamphetamine.
Investigators told police that Amber Herring and Bill Hall Jr. had been involved with a CPS investigation after CPS received information both Herring and Hall Jr. was in involved with methamphetamine use.
The drug screen was carried out by the Texas Drug Testing Service and the report said the child tested positive for amphetamines, methamphetamines, and marijuana.
Investigators believe both Herring and Hall intentionally, knowingly and recklessly engaged in activities that put the child in imminent danger.
Both were charged with endangering a child.
