Board receives findings on new hotel study

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

After months of study a consultant group says it would be beneficial to have a hotel next to the MPEC.

Gatehouse Capital, the company that Wichita Falls city leaders hired to study the feasibility on adding a hotel to the MPEC, presented their preliminary design and their findings for the to the 4B Tax Board on Wednesday.

Those members are who make the decision to move on to the next step. The study found it would be beneficial for the city to move forward.
City officials intend to continue to work directly with Gatehouse Capital.
