WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Musicians and singers of all ages came together Saturday night to put on a show for a big crowd.

The Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra and the Youth Symphony Orchestra performed in the Hometown Holiday concert.

The musical performances took place at Memorial Auditorium.

Christmas music of all kinds was heard by the crowd.

We spoke with Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra Executive Director, Sherry Ransom who said after all these years she still loves the feeling she gets when she sees first-time concert goers.

"My favorite part is when I see somebody that's never been to a concert and their eyes light up and they think, oh, well going to the symphony is fun," Ransom said.

Families of those performing were given free tickets for the concert. The auditorium was a packed house.

The Philharmonic Orchestra also performed in the lobby prior to the concert.
