WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

A good deed did not go unnoticed Saturday afternoon.

Cesar Corona, a cashier at the United convenience store on Jacksboro Highway said a man came in to buy a $5.00 lottery ticket.

The man handed Corona a $20.00 bill to pay and left the store.

Corona ran after the man to give him his change.

As it turns out, Corona said the man thought he handed Corona a $5.00 bill and not a $20.00 bill.

"I just know that if I was in that position, I would want my money too. I just thought I'd do the good thing, giving back his money," Corona said.

An employee of Russell's Fireworks witnessed this good deed and brought back something in return for Corona.

The 21-year-old was given a $100 gift card to Russell's Fireworks for his honest gesture.

The whole day was unexpected, but Corona said he was just doing the right thing.
