Archer City school bus crash sends two children to the hospital with minor injuries

ARCHER CITY, TX (KAUZ) -

Two students were sent to the hospital after an early morning accident just north of Archer City.

Around 7:20 a.m. on Highway 79 just north of Archer City, a school bus was stopped in the roadway near Carter Road. While the bus was stopped, 26-year-old Ryan Walls of Wichita Falls hit the bus in the back end.

Two children were transported to Wichita Falls Regional Hospital with minor injuries, there is no word on the children’s current condition. Walls was uninjured.

Texas DPS is investigating the accident.
