Kids cast a line at Kid's Fishing Rodeo

WICHITA FALLS, TX - Kids were reeling in some fun Saturday morning at the Kid's fishing rodeo at Plum Lake.

The event was put on by the City of Wichita Falls Parks and Recreation Department and Texas Parks and Wildlife.
Kids were able to grab their fishing poles and cast a line into the lake for a chance to catch a fish.
"I want to catch a catfish," said 7 year old Caysen Salvador.  "Some are really huge and some are small.  The big ones are grown ups and the small ones are kids.
Prizes were awarded at the end of the event.

The categories were smallest and largest trout and smallest fish.
