Jury finds Clarence Swegheimer guilty on all 6 counts

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Clarence Swegheimer has been found guilty by a jury on four counts of Indecency with a Child and two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault against a Child.
During closing arguments, the prosecution went through each count and told the jury why they believe he is guilty.
They mentioned that Shannon May, the forensic interviewer of the case from Patsy's House, and the victims testimonies added up.
They also said May's testimony was "substantive" and enough in itself.
The defense countered by saying some of the charges require intent and it is not there.
The defense said that Swegheimer admitted to some things, so if he was lying, they believe he would have denied everything.
They added there there was a lot the victim did not remember.
They admitted that they do not know which story is true, but believe there is doubt and the stories do not add up.
The prosecution said he lied about some things because he is a manipulator and showed characteristics that Jennifer Edwards, an expert witness in the trial, described.
They day began with more testimony by Swegheimer, followed by his sister.
She said she believes his story regarding the child pornography and said she went through his house when he was arrested and found nothing.
The punishment phase of the trial will begin tomorrow inside the 89th District Court at the Wichita County Courthouse.
Court will begin at 9 a.m. and the jury will arrive at 9:30 a.m.
