WFPD arrest man for resisting arrest

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Wichita Falls police arrested a man on Friday after he refused to comply with orders given by police.

On March 10th, police were called to the 1500 block of 14th Street for a suspicious person report. When officers arrived they found a person matching the description, later identified as Wesley Frizzell. Officers attempted to make contact with Frizzell but he refused to comply with their requests and continued to walk away.

One officer attempted to detain Frizzell and he reportedly turn towards the officers appearing to want to fight the officer. He was held at taser point until more officers arrived. Frizzell continued to resist arrest but was finally secured by officers.

Frizzell was arrested for resisting arrest and for walking in the roadway.
