WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - It's only March, but if you're looking to start getting ready for the Hotter'N Hell Hundred, you're in luck.
An all new six-month training program begins Monday.
Bikin' Mike Keel is a cycling trainer who was asked to create a plan to help riders prepare for the grueling 100-mile race.
Over the next six months, anyone interested in tackling the course will be able to participate in training three days a week: Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 9 a.m.
Each ride will begin from one of three places in the Falls: either one of the two Endurance House locations or the HHH Clubhouse on Scott Street.
Rides will be led by members of the MSU cycling team, as well as the founder of the HHH, Roby Christie.
The first session begins Monday, March 20th at 5:30 p.m. at the Wee-Chi-Tah Sculpture in Berend's Landing on Wichita Street.
The training plan is free.
