Relentless Winds, Chance of Storms

Two big weather headlines over the next 24 hours are strong winds and a chance of thunderstorms tonight. We'll see mostly sunny skies and highs in the 80s this afternoon. Winds will be gusty by noon and downright strong this evening. Winds will be south at 25 to 35 miles per hour well into the night. Thunderstorms will develop in west Texas late this afternoon and move toward Texoma tonight and weaken as they do so. Its possible that some of our western towns like Altus and Crowell could see high winds from the storms. Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated after midnight. Friday will be windy as well with very strong south winds
