A Burkburnett man is behind bars accused of credit/debit card abuse of an elderly woman.
The investigation began in mid-November after a woman came to the Wichita Falls Police Department to inform officers that her elderly aunt's debit/credit card has been fraudulently used.
She told police between November 7th and 13th six fraudulent charges were made.
The total came to $886.12 and purchases were made at Lowe's, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and Tracfone.com.
During the investigation, police found out the elderly woman's home health nurse and the nurse's boyfriend, Donald Wilson, had access to the woman's debit/credit card.
Surveillance video from Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Lowe's showed Wilson and his girlfriend at those locations.
In January, police spoke to the girlfriend who denied giving Wilson the victim's card or card information but said she believed he must have gone through her wallet.
Saturday, Donald Joe Ray Wilson was arrested and charged with Credit or Debit Card Abuse - Enhanced - Elderly Victim.
He is behind bars in the Wichita County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
