This afternoon will be a big improvement over this morning with a west breeze, sunshine and highs in the 70s. Friday will be warmer still with south winds and highs well into the 80s. A powerful disturbance, now over the Pacific will move into Texas Saturday triggering afternoon and evening thunderstorms. the Strongest storms will produce hail and high winds. It appears the tornado risk is low for this event. The storm system will moves slowly east Sunday keeping at least slight rain chances in the forecast. Another chance of thunderstorm will come Tuesday.
