WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A Wichita Falls woman is behind bars after a child in her care tested positive for drugs.
On February 27th a Wichita Falls police officer was contacted by Child Protective Services in reference to a 7-year-old who tested positive for cocaine and meth.
The CPS investigator said they received a report that Vakeisha Nicole Johnson, 45, was exposing the child to drug use.
The child was removed from Johnson's care.
Johnson provided a hair sample to authorities for drug testing and it came back positive for meth.
Based on the child's statements and Johnson's positive drug she was arrested and charged with Abandoning or Endangering a Child.
