WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Five Texoma athletes put pen to paper Wednesday, signing to play their sport in college.

Three will be playing baseball at the next level. Rider's Cason Jackson and Henrietta's Kandon Bennett both signed to play for Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma. The Raiders have five Texoma players this season: Rider's Hayden Proctor, Wichita Falls High School's Koy Daws and Garron Bates, Vernon's Josh Drennan and Bowie's Cooper Cantwell.

However, all are sophomores so they won't be there to play with the incoming players next season.

Still, Jackson said he talked with Proctor, Daws and Bates and their endorsement helped him make his decision.

Bennett said that his high school coach, Henrietta's Kyle Sims, helped get both he and Jackson their shot to try out.

Windthorst's Broady Flach will also be playing baseball, as well as football, at the next level. He signed with Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minnesota. Flach was a three-year letter-winner for the Trojans in baseball, football and track.

Two more Texoma athletes signed to play soccer.

Wichita Falls High School's Reilly Anderson signed to play for NAIA University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma, in Chickasha. She was a standout defender for the Lady Coyotes, helping them to a second-place district finish this year and a Bi-District title.

Hirschi's Shatoya DelValle signed to play for Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma. A 4-year varsity player for the Lady Huskies, she led the team with 11 goals as a senior, and helped the team to consecutive district titles.
