Woman admits to stealing $13,000 worth of art

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

A woman is behind bars after police said she admitted to taking artwork from a friend's home. 

Kelly Noble, 51, was arrested on Friday following an investigation into a burglary of a home on March 25th. 

Officers were called out to a home in the 2800 block of Judson Circle after the homeowner realized two pieces of artwork were missing. 

During the investigation, the homeowner told police he likely left a door unlocked and name Noble as being the only suspect he could think of that would take the paintings. 

When officers questioned Noble, the admitted to taking the paintings and led police to where she was keeping them. 

Combined the pieces were worth $13,000.

Noble was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation. On Monday she was no longer on the Wichita County Inmate Roster.
