WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - The Wichita Christian School band and choir earned top scores at TAPPS state competition on March 31st.

The band, directed by Adam Lynskey, performed two ensembles and also included two solo performances. All earned a superior rating. The choir, directed by

Sally Wilson, performed three ensembles and included three solo performances that also received a superior rating.

At the TAPPS Academic Meet on April 3rd through 5th three students received first place medals.

Tanner Cannedy received one for Current Events and Issues. Adelynn Vasquez received one for Oral Poetry Interpretation. Holly Roy received one for Computer Rendered Art.

Five other students also qualified as semi-finalists.
