All-in-all today will be a pleasant day with more cloud cover than yesterday and and highs in the 70s. Rain enters into the forecast today with a few showers possible this morning and thunderstorms late tonight. The risk of severe weather tonight is low but we could see flash flooding, especially across our western counties. There will be a series of weak disturbances that will sweep across the plains between now and Monday, keeping rain in our forecast . Fortunately these disturbances won't be strong enough to support widespread severe weather. We don't anticipate any first alert weather days through Monday.
