So far the good rain has lingered out in west Texas, well to the west of Lawton and Wichita Falls. The disturbance causing the rain will strengthen and lift northeast keeping fair rain chances in our forecast through the day. While we may see thunderstorms on the radar from time to time, the risk of severe weather is very low. Like yesterday, temperatures will climb to the mid 70s this afternoon. Despite a fair amount of cloud cover, rain chances are poor both Friday and Saturday. Thunderstorms could return Saturday night into Easter Day. Looks like our atmosphere might be more supportive of strong thunderstorms beginning the middle of next week.
