Elderly man attacked during possible burglary

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

An elderly man is recovering in the hospital after being knocked unconscious at his home Monday. 

Wichita Falls Police said the man arrived home a little before noon in the 300 block of Polk Street and found three people in his home. 

They are described as two Hispanic or dark complected white males and one Hispanic female.

Officers said he yelled at the suspects and chased them through him home and into his backyard. 

As he headed back into his home police said he was struck on the side of the head with an object. 

When he came to he called the police and was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. 

No one is in custody at this time. The suspect vehicle is described as a black Chevy Suburban. If you have any information about this crime give WFPD a call at (940) 761-7792.
