WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A fraternity at Midwestern State University is hitting the streets of Wichita Falls in hopes to raise money for Patsy's House.
Sigma Alpha Epsilon is tackling this fundraising effort for the chapter's Patty Murphy week.
It is a week where the chapter helps serve the community. This is the first Patty Murphy week the MSU chapter has held since 2012.
Each day this week members of the fraternity will be standing at various intersections across Wichita Falls with reflective vests and buckets asking for donations.
Tuesday they will be at the corner of Kemp and Southwest Parkway. Wednesday they will be on the corner of Kemp and Hampstead. Thursday they will me at the intersection of Kemp and Midwestern.
Friday the organization is wrapping up the week of fundraising by hosting a crawfish boil. Tickets are $10.00 a person and children under 5 eat for free. It is taking place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Mustangs Walk located in between the campus dorms and the Clark Student Center.
The chapter's goal is to raise $2,000 by Friday.
