WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - CBS's "Big Brother" and NewsChannel 6 hosted a casting call in Wichita Falls at Patterson Kia Saturday.
Many auditioned including Shelby Andrus. She said her strategy would be to be an aggressive player.
"Go straight for it," said Andrus. "I'm not going to make a lot of friends, honestly, because I'm not that kind of person, but it will be fun."
James Huling, a former "Big Brother" contestant who is from Wichita Falls, also had some advice for any locals that might just make the show.
"If you get on "Big Brother" it is a once in a lifetime experience," said Huling. "Take it and run with it and do positive things with it."
Huling said having an open casting call in Wichita Falls makes him feel like he has made a difference.
He adds it will be nice to sit back at home and hopefully cheer someone on from the area.
You can cheer on the contestants and keep up with the show on NewsChannel 6. The "Big Brother" premiere is June 28th.
