WFPD arrests woman at station who came to retrieve cell phone

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A Wichita Falls woman who had a warrant was arrested in the lobby of the police station Tuesday.

Officers said Lindsey Brea Harrison, 20, walked into the lobby to retrieve a cell phone that had been seized. Officers were sent to the front desk after they found out she had a warrant out for her arrest.

The warrant stemmed from an incident on March 21, 2017. According to an arrest affidavit, an undercover officer with the Organized Crime Unit was contacted by Harrison who stated she wanted to sell the officer 14 grams of marijuana.

The two met at the Sonic on Sheppard Access Road and the undercover officer exchanged money for the marijuana. After the drugs were tested a warrant was issued for Harrison for Delivery of Marijuana.

Harrison is sitting behind bars in the Wichita County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
