WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

A woman is behind bars for an alleged burglary that took place in late April.

Wichita Falls Police were called after several items were stolen from a home in the 5500 block of Montague Drive on April 25.

Stolen items included a Sony PlayStation 4, a Dell Laptop Computer, a container of laundry detergent, various food items, and seven bottles of beer.

The homeowner said the suspect made entry into the house through an unsecured window on the front of the house.

The homeowner said Cassandra Roberts, 36, was likely the culprit because she had recently asked them for money.

The victims claimed Roberts was on drugs and desperate for money.

Fingerprints were lifted from the window where the suspect entered the home. Those fingerprints matched Roberts.

According to the arrest affidavit, Robert's boyfriend, Tai Harris, sent Facebook messages to the victims implicating Roberts in the burglary.

Detectives were able to partially corroborate Harris' statements with other known facts of the case.

A warrant for Roberts' arrest was issued and she was taken into custody on Saturday, June 24.
