WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A juvenile was hauled off to jail on Tuesday after Wichita Falls Police said he pulled out a knife on a store manager inside Sikes Senter Mall.
Sgt. Harold McClure said officers were called out to the At Home store around 1:13 p.m. for a subject with a knife.
Police said a group of teens were inside the store goofing around when the store manager approached them.
During the conversation, one of the teens pulled out a pocket knife. The juvenile then took off throughout several stores in the mall in an attempt to evade security and law enforcement.
The 13-year-old was eventually caught near the JCPenney store. The teen was arrested and taken to the juvenile detention center charged with Aggravated Assault and Evading Arrest or Detention.
