BURKBURNETT, TX (KAUZ) - A major stormwater drainage project has begun at a busy intersection in Burkburnett.
City and School District officials posted to Facebook Friday warning drivers about the work being done at the intersection of Kramer, County and Ameron Roads.
The project will curtail travel and eliminate passage through the railroad track crossing at Kramer Road.
Motorists will have to use alternative routes at Kramer Road.
County and Ameron Road will both remain open during the work. A portion of County Road will be reduced to one lane at various times throughout the process.
City officials said the goal is for the project to be completed by the time school resumes.
