Surveillance of Wichita Falls car wash damage leads to arrest

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A Wichita Falls man is behind bars for damaging a local car wash.

Wichita Falls police officers were called out to the Quick & Easy Car Wash in the 2300 block of Kemp Boulevard on Monday for a report of criminal mischief.

When they arrived, officers found severely damaged vacuums and trash scattered on the property.

Video surveillance showed the suspect who caused the damage, and police were able to locate 35-year-old Jonathan Crain walking in the 2400 block of Taylor Street.

When searched, Crain had various pills in a baggie with no prescription in his possession.

He was arrested and charged with Felony Criminal Mischief over $2500 and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG3.

Damage to the car wash was valued at approximately $3500.
