Four small children left in a hot car in a Wal-Mart parking lot lands one man in jail, facing several charges.

Just before noon on Monday, Wichita Falls police were flagged down at the Wal-Mart on Greenbriar for children being left alone in a vehicle.

Officers located the vehicle and found it to be unlocked and running with four unsupervised children, all under the age of 6, inside.

Authorities say they couldn't feel any cool air running in the car, and one of the children was sweating.

The investigation revealed 23-year-old Kentea Luckey was responsible for the children, and he had left them alone for nearly 20 minutes while he was inside the store.

Luckey was arrested on four counts of Abandoning or Endangering a Child and transported to jail.

He was also found to have four arrest warrants.
