Meth possession in Wichita Falls leads to two arrests

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Two people are behind bars for possession of methamphetamine.

Just after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, Wichita Falls police officers were called to a vacant home in the 1400 block of North 8th Street.

When they arrived, they found 39-year-old Angela Everman and 39-year-old David Murray, both of whom had previously been evicted from the property, sitting on the back porch.

Officers saw a glass pipe with a bowl at one end with burn marks on it next to Everman.

Police say Murray was trying to conceal two small baggies that contained a clear crystal substance, which tested positive for .23g of methamphetamine.

Everman and Murray were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 in a Drug Free Zone (Scotland Park).

When Everman was taken to jail, she was found to be in possession of an additional .36g of methamphetamine.
