City Council to vote on more bulletproof vests for WFPD

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Wichita Falls City Council members will be considering a number of agenda items at the July 18 meeting.

- Council members will consider passing an ordinance and resolution for an annexation in the 5000 block of Gregg Road for the Trophy Park Subdivision Servicing Plan.

- Councilors are expected to table an ordinance to issue a $7.6 million certificates of obligation for a new conference center near the MPEC. It is expected to be tabled to the September 5 meeting.

- Council members will consider applying for a grant that could bring 50 new bulletproof vests to the Wichita Falls Police Department for just under $16,000.
