WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

A Wichita Falls man, already behind bars, was served an arrest warrant for the stabbing of another man.

The stabbing took place on June 29, 2017. On that day, officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were called out to the Emergency Room at United

Regional Hospital where a man came in with a stab wound to the abdomen.

The victim told police he was stabbed by Nicholas Lee Myers, 30, on the 1900 block of 7th Street.

Arrest documents said the victim and Myers got into a physical altercation. During the altercation, witnesses said Myers struck the victim in the abdomen with what appeared to be his hand.

Three uninvolved witnesses told officers following the hit the victim fell to the ground and Myers ran off. The victim then immediately said he has been stabbed.

Those witnesses and the victim identified Myers as the suspect in a photo lineup.

Myers was served the Aggravated Assault warrant at the Wichita County Jail where he was already behind bars for what is believed to be a parole violation.
