WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Wichita Falls Police is asking for tips in an effort to solve an armed robbery on June 7. 

Officers said around 1:00 p.m. a woman was walking into her home on the 1800 block of Victory carrying groceries when she was approached by a black male. 

The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The victim said she did not have any and the suspect took her groceries and struck the victim in the head with the gun several times before fleeing the scene. 

The suspect is described as a skinny black male with dreadlocks who stands around five feet four inches tall. 

The police have very little information about this crime and could use your help. If you have any information about this crime you should call Crime Stoppers at (940) 322-9888.
