WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - More details have been released in connection to two incidents on the east side of Wichita Falls Thursday morning that left one woman injured and another arrested for Aggravated Assault.

Around 11:30 am officers were called out to the 800 block of Flood Street in reference to a subject that was struck in the head by a brick.

When police arrived on scene they found the victim who said Lashenda Mitchell, 34, came to their residence and began throwing bricks through the window of the residence.

Officers said when the victim went outside to see what was going on Mitchell threw another brick hitting the victim in the head.

The brick struck the victim causing a cut around the victim's left eye.

Mitchell fled the scene before police arrived. But according to a release, officers said Mitchell traveled to the area of Juarez Street and Humphreys Street where she got into a second altercation.

Once on the scene officers said the driver of a Honda Accord was hitting a parked Toyota Camry. Witnesses told police that the driver of the Accord struck the Camry several times with the vehicle, and then began breaking windows of the Camry with a baseball bat.

Police located Mitchell on the scene and took her into custody without incident. Mitchell is in the Wichita County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

WFPD said both incidents are under investigation and further charges could be filed.
